"Not a telephone, a TELEPORTER! Just go play, OK?"
-Kevin to Melanie

Diaper Madness is the sixth episode of Krypto the Superdog.

Summary[]

When a teleporter gets stuck in Melanie's diaper, Krypto and Kevin have to save her before Melanie teleports herself into danger.

Plot[]

Kevin has to look after his little sister, while his mother goes to attend a protest in downtown Metropolis. The protesters are opposing the construction of a new building headed by Lex Luthor, who somehow managed to convince the city hall for permission to build a new site. The citizens disagree with the decision. Mary believes the protest to be a just cause and therefore she leaves Melanie under Kevin's guard.

Far away in the S.T.A.R. Labs, Luthor's scientists have created a teleportation ray device. A bunch of lab rats are released from their cages, creating havoc inside the lab. A loose rat steps on the handheld ray device and accidentally warps into the suburban area near Kevin's house. The rat appears on Kevin's doorstep with the teleportation ray and leaves it behind. Having found the device, Kevin begins playing with it, zapping back and forth to test its various uses. The fun ends up zapping into the sky, then the device falls out of Kevin's hands and lands in Melanie's diaper. Things immediately go awry when she begins zapping in different places high and low, while Kevin and Krypto struggle to keep her from getting them into trouble.

Later on, Kevin and Krypto are racing around the city to keep Melanie from getting herself hurt, when she teleports from high trees to tops of buses and into trucks. At one point, she warps into the grouchy next door neighbor's house while he's attempting to get some sleep and ends up teleporting him atop the roof, where he crashes into a big flower bush much to the horror of his wife. Kevin and Melanie end up teleporting atop the rings of the planet sign on the top of the Daily Planet building where they almost slide off the sculpture on the top of the skyscraper. While being carried by Krypto, Melanine drops the teleporation device, which lands on the Luthor's building construction site. The device hits its activation switch upon the impact. As a result, Lex's building construction is teleported into the water in the Metropolis Bay.

Back at Whitney's home, it turns out that the Superdog has retrieved the teleportation device. Kevin initially thinks about keeping the device inside his bedroom until her gets older. After a short debate, Krypto and Kevin decide it best to keep the ray safe. At the end of the episode, they decide to hand the device over to Superman. Krypto grabs the teleporter device and flies to the Superman's hideout through Kevin's window.
